The day started at Silver Cloud Inn with Priscilla and her friends getting ready in a corner suite while Josh and his friends got ready at their Tacoma home.
One of my favorite parts of a wedding is seeing the unique way each couple chooses to celebrate their union. Priscilla and Josh used a painted wooden hand for the ring bearer to carry and her bouquet was of hand made paper flowers.
Josh was all ready to meet his bride and waited for her at Jack Hyde Park.
They were insanely happy and excited that their day was finally here!
Their ceremony was at the Reconciliation Park.
They tried to hide away in the limo, but they were just too famous!
From the limo to the alter.
Yes, it’s the wrong hand… haha… that got corrected later on :).
It’s official!
Josh’s best man was his dad, his sister was a groomswoman and 2 friends filled the other spots.
It was important to get the ships in the background since both Josh and Priscilla love them! I do too :). Priscilla had 2 bridesman and 2 bridesmaids on her side.
Since the reception didn’t start for a few more hours we headed to the Glass Museum.
I love this image that Joe captured while I was getting another angle. So pretty!
These two were so cute!
Another awesome image by Joe!
The wind caught us by surprise, haha! 🙂 I have to admit… I abandoned them and went for dry land.
The reception was at Studio 6 Ballroom on 6th Ave. Its always fun to be somewhere I’ve never been.
This is the first ice sculpture I have seen since I starting capturing weddings.
So many firsts at this wedding – a hotdog cart, an iPhone used for the Photo Booth, a hula hoop dance, and a bouquet toss for girls and guys.
Such a fun time and all so close to home :). Thanks for embracing us with open arms!
