It’s always an awesome thing when you get to know an entire family from doing all their weddings! The good thing is that there will be more to come… no pressure there… you know who you are, haha :).
Matt and Melissa were married last Saturday at the Historic 1625 Tacoma Place building. It’s the newly renovated old Cadillac Dealership on South Tacoma Way and they have done a wonderful job in making this venue very special. If you’re still looking for a venue for your special day, I highly recommend it.
I loved the look of the flowers when they were brought in. It reminded me of the Farmer’s Market and I love a good Farmer’s Market :).
Melissa was not only a gorgeous bride, but she was layed back and happy the whole time!
Forgive the grain on these next few. The room was a little dark, but I really loved these images and wanted to share them.
While the girls were rushing around upstairs, the guys were getting ready downstairs and Matt, well I guess he had time for a phone call :).
Each Bride and Groom want their day to be as special as it can be, so Matt and Melissa decided to make something that would help that memory last. They made the arbor to be used in the ceremony. This wasn’t your ordibary arbor either. They made hand fabricated roses that climbed both sides. I just had to use it for the ring shot. It was quite impressive and beautiful.
I love the excitement before the first look. While Joe positions the groom, I hang out with the bride and the exitement starts to build. My favorite part!
Love.
Friends and family! Fun girls :).
Stunning bride! I love getting dramatic images.
Nothing more precious than a Dad shedding a few tears walking his baby girl down the aisle.
Notice the arbor… M for Moore.
This is a first! Babies (cousins) in a Camero :).
Since the venue is an old dealership, there are still parts of it used for cars. This is just before getting announced into the reception, in the back storage room. I loved all the white. Completely different than the rest of the building.
Time for a party :).
And that involves dancing!
Sometimes I see an opportunity for a more creative shot. This was one of those times and that wrapped up the night.
Thanks for having us Matt and Melissa. What an amazing day you had! We love your family and I know your life will be rich together – full of love and laughter and happiness!
