Last Saturday was another awesome wedding, this time at The Washington State Capital building in Olympia, then the Heritage Room just down the street.
I had a great time with Judy and Dan during their engagement session, so I knew I was going to LOVE spending the day with them at their wedding.
Judy took my breathe away when I walked in… simply stunning!
Dan was getting ready downstairs and since Judy made sure he was early, the guys kept him company.
I love being part of such a special day. Happiness just oozes all over everything! 🙂
The Capital building was just right down the street and we were surrounded by so many awesome places to capture the bride and groom that it was a little overwhelming. I know it’s their day, but I get excited too :).
These two crack me up. Every time we stopped to capture a few images, they would be in the middle of some great conversation and would pause for the picture, then resume. They were just enjoying every minute and we were ahead of schedule (which was REALLY awesome), so we could take our time and just have fun with it all.
I knew there were a few images I wanted for sure. An epic kissing picture in front of the capital and a sitting shot on the staircase.
As you know, I am now embracing the sun and not letting it limit me. I love this of Judy.

Wedding Parties are always fun and these girls were laughing the entire day! Can you tell which one is trouble? I’m not telling :). Haha
I really LOVE this image of the guys!
This one’s pretty awesome too!
Judy put so much detail into her wedding. Starting with the colors – red and black, the use of red roses, the vintage jewelry and hair accessories, the vintage car (you will see that soon) and more, more, more at the reception!
The Capital doesn’t need any decorations. It’s memorable all on it’s own.
Such a big staircase for a little girl, but she did great. Instead of dropping petals, she handed guests white roses as she walked down the aisle.
There was a slight echo with such high ceilings, but I could understand every word and hear every smile :).
MARRIED!! Yay!
As the other guests headed to the reception, we took the long way in this vintage convertible.
I remember thinking as we we driving, wind in our hair and sun on our faces, that I am a very fortunate girl to have this life! I just wanted to put that out there!!! 🙂
We stopped at Capital Lake to snap a few before heading to the reception. Yes, more SUN!
Old Hollywood was everywhere, from the red carpet entrance…
To the old movie theme music playing…
To the movie reels to sign as the guest book…
To the centerpieces celebrating old movie…
To the old time signature drinks being served…
And the movie candy and popcorn bar…
Kids were dancing in the aisles with joy… and we might have been too (love the candy bar!!).
Just so many great details! 🙂
The money dance lasted for at least 3 songs… everyone was just having too much fun to stop it!
A quick cigar break outside before we left.
What a really awesome wedding Judy and Dan. So beautiful in every way. Hugs from us both (Misty was my second for this wedding). We both enjoyed every minute!
