This last Saturday I had the honor of photographing the wedding of my one of my past Seniors, but this time as a Bride!
Erica’s mom did all the flowers and she did a great job!
The anticipation before a wedding is always a fun buzz.
As Erica was waiting for her groom to come see her, out walked her Dad. Precious moment!
I can’t even tell you what shoes I wore for my wedding and my ring shot, well it was on my hand with a set of fake fingernails… times have changed and now it’s important to capture these details in a more beautiful way. If you look closely inside the shoe on the right, it has a gold coin in it. That coin is now a 3 generational wedding coin. Very cool!
First looks are also something relatively new in the wedding industry and it’s my favorite part! I love the build up to the moment and the outpour of emotion! So much fun!
Erica and James did not stop smiling, hugging, giggling and kissing the whole day and night except for when I asked them to for a shot or two. It was very hard for them though :). The bench they are sitting on was donated to the church by Erica’s grandpa… very special.
A great group of people!
And they double as super heroes :).
The quiet before the moment…
They got married in Erica’s grandparent’s church in the South side of Tacoma.
For the reception we traveled to the new Tacoma Elks Building.
And the first thing Erica and James did was grab a cream soda :).
Such a wonderful night celebrating with all of their family and friends.
And just when the dancing was at it’s peak, I found these two having their own fun outside!
Then back inside for some more dancing fun with friends!
Erica and James, always keep smiling. It’s beautiful!
Erica is my first senior to turn bride and I am so honored that she wanted me to capture her beautiful day. And look who else was there! Two more of my past seniors. Amy, class of 2011 (and Erica’s sister), Erica, class of 2012 and Madison, class of 2011. It was awesome seeing you all!
