Maci is a Mountlake Terrace High School 2015 graduate and life’s been busy, so she finally found the time to get her senior portraits done. In a few short months she’ll be a freshman at UW.
Maci loves Golden Garden’s park in Seattle, so we decided to do her shoot there. It was incredibly busy, but we still managed to find just the right spots.
I always have a favorite part of a shoot and this part was it for me. Her mom and I were walking and talking and Maci was ahead of us. I looked up and saw this beautiful image of Maci in the white sky and dry grass. I called for her to stop and turn around and just walk towards me. Sometimes that’s all it takes!
It really was a busy day at the beach! Really!
As the sun was disappearing behind all the haze from the Canadian fires we finally made it to the water’s edge. Our feet were black from the charcoal pieces from bon fires in the sand, but we didn’t care. We just left the shoes behind and embraced the freedom :). Side note: I hate wearing shoes!
Thank you so much for allowing me to capture you Maci and I so enjoyed your mom, Fran! Hugs to you both! Such beautiful ladies!
