Ben is a 2014 Stadium High School senior and is the son of my childhood friend, Dorothy. We have known each other since kindergarten and what an honor it is that I now get to take her son’s senior portraits!
I can’t tell you how fun Ben was on our shoot. The best personality – happy, funny and willing, but it shouldn’t surprise me, since his mom is only one of the sweetest people I know!
We decided to do our shoot downtown, since it was close to Stadium and we wanted to end our session there.
I know it was hard for Dorothy to pick her images. There were so many that made me laugh with his personality shining through… who wouldn’t just want them all!
He did manage to give me some more serious looks though :).
Ben is on Stadium’s Basketball team and I had the pleasure of watching and capturing him playing in one of the team’s playoff games. He was awesome!
I have to be honest. When I end a session at Stadium it’s the front of the castle that everyone really wants and that’s where I usually end up, not taking the time to explore the campus a little more. I have done some in the bowl before, but it’s usually closed when I’m there. This time we really wanted the bowl in the background, so we got as high as we could and experimented.
We did get one at the front too, of course :).
We finally ended the session on the way down the staircase.
And had some more laughs along the way! What an awesome session! Ben, you are the best! Dorothy, I love ya!
