Tricia and Ryan’s wedding was so much fun!  We stayed in Chelan with my SIL and enjoyed the weekend of celebration.  The girls got ready at the Whaley, a beautiful old house in the heart of Lake Chelan. The day included a lot of wine and smiles :).This was such a beautiful room and tricky to stay out of the way of the mirrors while I was capturing this moment.Dad’s first look.Meanwhile, Ryan is getting ready to see his bride!

The guys headed our way from their hotel down the street from the Whaley.First look… always a favorite part of the day.Wow, these two… gorgeous people! The guys! The girls.Time to load the party bus to Karma Vineyards. The whole gang.Just before the girls and Tricia’s Dad were going to load into the shuttle to the wedding location we caught this.  So cute!Proud Dad walking is baby girl down the aisle. What an amazing backdrop!  Actually, it was amazing from every direction! My view…Joe’s view…It’s time to start the party!Thank you for having Joe and I be part of your wedding celebration!  We had such a great time with all your friends and family and what a beautiful couple you make!

I love being involved in families and their special moments! I first met this family when I did Natalie’s sister’s senior portraits and now it was Natalie’s turn to be in the spotlight and it was a beautiful spotlight to be in!

Natalie had the most gorgeous dress, like a princess with lots of amazing layers.
Those special moments between daughter and father. Both of them with such joy on their faces.
The below image is always one of my favorites to capture. The formals are a must, but this image shows relationships and isn’t that what it’s all about? These people are all dressed up celebrating because of the relationship they have with this couple!
One of my favorite images.
Dancing in the sunlight.
It’s so fun to see all the kids start gathering together at a reception. Even if they don’t know each other before, they soon become the best of friends.
Signature drinks are a fun idea that wasn’t around when I got married.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! So funny!
A special moment with Dad.
Thank you Natalie and Brent! You are an amazing couple and it was such a pleasure to be part of your day!

Kelsey and Sato live in Japan and made the trip to Washington to get married and be with family and friends! It feels like I say this often and maybe I just have the best couples ever, but these two are so incredible sweet and spending the day with them was so much fun!

There’s definitely a story behind the dress image I originally planned on capturing. We found a great spot outside to hang the dress. A pretty tree and beautiful weather! Joe placed it just right for me on a high branch then stood back. Soon we saw a bee, then another and quickly realized there was a hive right below where we placed it. It took a little time and patience, but we got the dress down and decide the window inside was a perfect plan B! All saved and I love the result :).
The first look, love it every time!
I loved the pretty ribbons Kelsey picked for decorating around her details. So delicate and feminine.
This is the first time I have seen this kind of something blue.

I try hard to pick locations that reflect my seniors. Grace is artistic and her mom and I talked about the best locations to embrace and highlight that. I love building a plan that is perfect for each senior.

Bring the family! It’s the perfect time to get a family picture!
It’s true, I actually use this spot frequently. Sometimes I love a location so much it just can’t be passed up when I’m in the area!
Props are fun to use in shoots!
I’m sure I said something funny. It happens :).
The color in this session makes my heart happy!

All weddings are special, but this one is a little more special to me, since it’s my nephew’s wedding! Our family traveled to Oregon, to the Butler Barns for this wonderful day and it was perfect!

Megan looked stunning!
Adam wrote a song for Megan and surprised her with it after their first look.
Smiles… nothing but smiles all day long!!
I love the look of using eclectic china pieces for the bridal party table. I was so excited when I saw they had chosen to do that. Not many do and I just love the idea!
The send off! What a fun day! Thank you Adam and Megan, for trusting us on such an important day in your life. We love you both!
If you want to see more of these two, their engagement session can be seen here.
