Every year I look forward to putting up my 7 trees!  I’ve blogged about them for the last 2 years, so you can see those blogs 2010 here and 2011 here.  They’ll give a better overall perspecitve than this blog post.  I decided you didn’t need to see them again this year unless there was a little different spin on it.  I’m not an expert, but I do have opinions :).

5 Ways to have a beautiful Christmas tree:

1) Location and size

Think outside the box, it doesn’t always have to be in front of a window. I do have a couple that are, but it’s because that’s where they worked best. Just don’t let that limit you. When I had 6 and wanted to add another no one could see where I would fit it. I saw the perfect spot… right in the corner of the kitchen nook. It’s not a big spot, but I didn’t need a big spot. Who says the tree has to be huge?  In fact, sometimes small is just right!  You don’t want it to overpower the room!

Our kitchen nook had a small corner available, so I found this tree at Home Depot.  It has it’s own stand, is pre-lit and the perfect size!  Also, note the colors – not the traditional green and red.  Instead its pink and blue :).

The sister-in-law got the pot for me and the BBQ to the right of it.  I love getting new ornaments.  Since this tree is located in the kitchen, it only makes sense that all the ornaments are kitchen related, fun huh? 🙂

2) Theme or color scheme

I had a hard time choosing just one style.  I wanted more.  So, each tree has a theme to some extent. It could be color specific or subject specific, but it needs to be something to give a cohesive look.  My bedroom tree is color specific with creams and coppers.  My basement tree is subject specific, decorated in musical instruments.  The red keyboard is a new one for this year.  I found it at Rankos, a small old-time drug store down the street.

3) Personalize it

Each of my trees have a variety of meaningful ornaments. Some represent us in a big way, like the diningroom tree which has ornaments from all the places we have visited as a family. Other trees have ornaments that the kids have made, or ones that represent things we like.  I think it’s so important to have that personalized touch.  I know, for me, that’s why I love each one so much and look forward to putting them up.

This year I added an ornament that represents my wonderful mother-in-law (she used to collect Koala’s) and one that represents a recent trip we took to my sister-in-law’s new house in Chelan.  She has a little owl that sits above her back door.  His name is Owliotte.  The Koala’s are from World Market and the owl was a gift from my sister-in-law.

I also added this little guy.  He looks just like the little birds that visit my yard often (and that my cat had in it’s mouth the other day, very sad).

4) Add Bling, lots of bling

I realized years ago that what I really loved about the beautiful trees I saw at the stores was the bling that was added to them. We think of the traditional ornaments to decorate a tree, but there’s just so much more and honestly, I think a tree needs more! I added some bling to each of my kid’s trees this year.  They were the only 2 that didn’t have any (well, the basement one too, which still needs a little more).

I added 3 blings to Nick’s tree.  The green sprays, the green leaves and the red berries.  It looks so much better now!  I got all 3 at Artco.Um, yes that’s dust you see on the red ball.  Nick decided to leave his tree up all year, since he loves it so much. He also got a new penguin ornament (well, several actually).  This one’s from Pier 1.  I wanted to get him a little white truck to represent his first vehicle, but I couldn’t find one.

Amanda’s tree also got an update, with a new star from Pier 1, silver leaves and white cascading flowers. Amanda also got a whole new bedroom this year to celebrate her entrance into high school.  No more bunk beds.  Instead I took my old white iron bed frame from when I was a kid, painted it black and got new bedding from Ikea, along with an Audrey Hepburn print, some repurposed and new furniture and shelving, a chandelier and she has a whole new look.  I love it and more importantly, she loves it!

I got the white flowers from Artco and the silver leaves from Watermark, a local gift shop, the same place I got the ballerina on the right.

I also try to find unique ornaments, like this one I found at our local Thriftway store.

5) Make it easy

This is the most common question I get. “It takes me forever to decorate one, how do you do 7?”

I can tell you that I do them all by myself. All are artificial except one. 2 are pretty old and I put every branch on (diningroom and master bedroom), but I’ve made it as easy as possible until I eventually replace those two. Some tips:

  • Store the tree trimmings nearby, like in a drawer in the room the tree is in. That way you don’t have to haul the stuff out of storage and into the room every year. I just pull out a drawer.
  • Store artificial trees under a bed for the bedroom ones.
  • There are some artificial trees that are pre-lit and in a base.  Those leave in tact and just put a garbage bag over the top and store int he basement or garage as is.

This one is stored under our bed in a long flat box.

I graduated from University of Puget Sound, so this year I decided to get an ornament that represents that.  I found it in the UPS bookstore and it felt a little strange being on campus after all these years. When I attended school there, the colors were gold and green.  Now they have changed them to burgundy and silver.

This tree has the most bling of all.  There are 5 different sprays that come out of it. Some are sparkly and others just silk plants.

Oh, one last thing… don’t stop – every year I add something. It might not be big, but it’s something. This didn’t happen over night!

Last but not least, the “real” tree.  This one troubled me this year.  Does anyone else think as much about this kind of stuff as me?  Am I crazy?

I have used the framed pictures as the focal point of this tree in the past, but this year they didn’t seem to be standing out.  We needed some big ornaments to help balance them.  This is the most eclectic of the trees.

I added pine cone ornaments and white lights, instead of just the usual red ones.  Home Depot has these great sets from Martha Stuart that has everything you need to decorate a tree.  What a great idea.  I really wanted these pine cones and the only way to get them was to buy the entire set, so I did, knowing I could use some of the other ornaments on other trees.

I added big ornamental ornaments, since other than the picture frames, the ornaments were small.

I still included the personal ones on, like this one we got as a wedding gift our first year.

And these made by my kids.

I do like it better, but it’s still not there yet.  Maybe woodland type creatures next year? We’ll see :).

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed seeing our trees again and maybe even got a little inspiration for your own tree.

Michelle McLean - CONNIE!!!! I am so inspired!!! I have wanted to add more trees since I read your blog last year and thought about it alllll year long 🙂 I added 2 and look forward to more!!! I loved having our front room all red and gold but got so much flack for not displaying our handmade ones and ones we collect each time we travel. More trees was the perfect solution!! Haha I discovered antiquing a few months ago and decided to create a room that only has Christmas decorations I had as a kid. My mom is not good at saving stuff so I don’t have any old ornaments. It is soooooo fun finding old stuff that I remember!!!! 🙂 thank you for inspiring my new hobby!! I found an ornament that will be perfect for your kitchen tree and will deliver it to your porch sometime soon 🙂 xoxoxoReplyCancel

Once Upon a Time There Were 7 Christmas Trees | Connie Riggio Seattle Tacoma Photographer - […] posted about my tree several times thorough the years. You can find those posts here: 2012 and here’s another: 2011 and another: […]ReplyCancel

Every year I blog about my trees, since I don’t just put up one tree… I put up 7!  I did find another person this year that beat me with 8, so I’m not as crazy as I thought :D.  Right Julee!

You might think this is crazy, during a very busy time of year, or that it would be stressful, since one treee can be a chore all on it’s own, but really, it’s not.  I love putting them up and it only takes a few days of dedicating myself to the task.

Well, this year I though it would be fun to share some childhood memories too.  I don’t have many pictures from my childhood, but I do have a few Christmas ones.  My clothing choices were clearly not the best :D.

I remember my sister and I sharing this couch, waiting for Santa to come, but sleep got the better of us and we ALWAYS missed him!!

Riggio Christmas Memory

Every Christmas Eve was spent at my Nana’s house along with my Aunts, Uncles and Cousin’s on my mom’s side.  My Uncle Dave would wait for the moment to embarrass us with the box of panties we were sure to get from my Nana, or the one year I got the doll that if you turned her arm her chest grew and her waist got smaller.  I still have her!Riggio Christmas Memory

When I was real little we always had a flocked tree.
Riggio Christmas Memory

A robe, black boots and messy hair – kind of similar to what I look like every morning taking the kids to school :D.  Riggio Christmas Memory

When I got a little older we opted for a fake green tree, with homemade ornaments that looked like little stuffed animals.  They were made of felt, purchased at the downtown Tacoma Rhodes store when it closed.  I still remember going with my mom to the close-out sale and buying that huge pile of felt.  She made all the patterns herself, hand stitched them and adorned them with buttons, yarn, jewels and beads.  Next to the tree was a multi-colored rotating wheel of light that turned and shined red, blue, green and yellow at the tree: so psychedelic.  I loved rediscovering each and every one of these stuffed toys as I decorated the tree each year.  I still have some of them packed away, but I haven’t seen them for many years.  Maybe I will find a place for them next year.Riggio Christmas Memory

My mom made our stockings too.  They were not the typical ones that you see in the store.  They too were made of felt and were shaped more like a boot.  This pictures shows me with my brother Gari.  This was a rare visit, maybe one of a handful of times I got to visit with him (my other brother, Danny must have been visiting too, but I don’t have a picture with him in it :(. I am so thankful I have this picture.  This is one of those memories that would be totally lost if I did not have this to remind me.Riggio Christmas Memory

I look much too old to be playing with a Barbie Camper and nice outfit!  Ugh, the 70’s.  I do still have this camper though!  I’m weird like that.  There are just some childhood toys I could never part with and this was one of them.  I remember getting the Sunshine Family and the Happy Family at the same time and I still have them as well, along with their home and the handmade crafts I made to go in the home!  Some day my kids will have to deal with all the memories I have kept over the years! At least they are all neat and organized in the attic.Riggio Christmas Memory

*********************************************************************

Now, on to my trees for this year. If you are a blog reader, you will remember I added a tree last year – to the kitchen nook. I try to add something every year just to keep it fresh and new.  To see last year’s post go HERE.

1 – PARLOR

The view from my desk – I can see my parlor tree and my dining room tree.  I love it.

The Parlor tree is the only real tree in the house and we have fun going out to the Christmas Tree Farm every year, as a family, picking the tree and cutting it down.  This year, Nick was the official cutter.  He’s also the master picker of trees.

The fireplace is always decorated with our socks.  My Mother-in-law made mine when I was just 16 years old – I spent Christmas morning with them – it was a very special time.

It’s decorated in red, green and white ornaments.  The frames are hand-painted and have pictures of our family in them.  I need to swap some out for more current pictures though.  They are all pretty old.  I love this one of Amanda.Nicky made this one in Kindergarten.

2 – DINING ROOM

The Diningroom tree is our vacation and special memory tree.  You can also see our Christmas cards displayed all around the room on the plate ledge.

Each year I add one or two ornaments to this tree. This year it was a bird from Hood Canal. We camp nearby at Staircase right on the river and this year a little bird joined us.

Most of my trees are also adorned with extras – ribbons, grapes, vines, leaves, berries, etc.

In the dining room is a very special wisemen display made by my mother-in-law many years ago.

3 – KITCHEN NOOK

When I added this next one: the kitchen tree, I really thought it would be hard to find ornaments that were kitchen-related.  I was definitely wrong about that!  They are everywhere!

This year I added a few that I bought, while shopping with my friend Misty and a really cool one from my sister-in-law, Carmela – a wok!  My sister also sent me a rolling pin and slotted spoon. 🙂

I added this one.  I love Pho.

And one more to represent my collection of Fiestaware dishes.  I have them in almost every color.

We also have this advent calendar hanging in the Kitchen nook.  My mother-in-law made it for us long ago and the kids love counting down the days of Christmas using it.

4 – MASTER BEDROOM

Our bedroom tree was one of the first ones I added after the original parlor tree.  I always wanted one in the bedroom when I was a kid.  It has a variety of off white, copper, gold and glittery type ornaments.  My star is leaning :(.

We did add a new one this year, that I loved from Target.  I have a really hard time passing up ornaments.  I must, at least,  look at them all in every store I visit and usually breakdown and buy one.

5 – NICK

Nick has loved Penguins for many years now and with most childhood collections they start to dwindle off and are soon forgotten.  Not Nick’s penguins.  He still loves them and every year I manage to find a new one to add to his tree.

Last year the kids had 4-foot trees. This year we upgraded to 7-foot trees :)!

This year it was the Pier 1 commercial that caught my eye for Nick’s ornament.  That chubby penguin that asked the shopper if the tree made her look fat.  I had to have her for Nick’s tree and was happy to find that they still had one left at the store!

He also has cars, Coca-Cola items and swim-related ornaments, but mostly penguins.

6 – AMANDA

As many of you know, Amanda is a ballerina.  She has taken ballet for 10 years now at Tacoma City Ballet and this year marked the 9th Nutcracker she has performed in.  Every year we visit the Nutcracker boutique in the lobby of the Pantages Theatre and pick out an ornament for her tree and just recently we have started to collect the Snow Globes, representing the different parts of the Nutcracker.  She added 2 new ones this year – the Party Scene and Flowers.  You’ll see those at the end of her tree pics.

Her tree is decorated in snowflakes, blue globes, ballet related items and crystal ornaments and now is 7 feet tall this year with a silver lit star on top.  She sneaked into my pic just in time to get a little sliver of her bright face.

We added this chandelier this year too.  So pretty with the lights. Her pink slippers ornament is the new one from the Nutcracker boutique.
The new one I bought her.  And the new snow globes.

7 – BASEMENT

The basement tree is the last one to show you – it’s our musical instrument tree since the basement pretty much belongs to Joe (except for the laundry room :D).

Every tree now has a star – 4 trees got new ones this year (the kitchen, Nick and Amanda and the basement).I also added red balls to this tree (and also to Nick’s tree).  It needed something.  Next year I plan to add some special swigs and decorations to this tree and the kid’s trees.

Some day I may be done updating them, but I can’t see that happening soon, since there is always something to add.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting our Christmas.

May Christ bless you this Christmas and New Year and may His love surround you always.

xoxoxo, Connie, Joe, Nicky and Amanda

Welcome to our home… this is the ONLY decoration you will find from the outside since Joe is in charge of the outside and I am in charge of the inside.  Yes, Joe, I am trying to rub it in :).  Is it working?  Your family wants lights!
Decorating for Christmas

As you enter, you have visibility of 3 trees! (the purple chair is usually where the parlor tree is to the left)
Decorating for Christmas

Every year I put up 6 trees, but this year I added another, to make a total of 7. Only one is from a tree farm, the rest are artificial, but still beautiful.

Why so many? Well, I would put up more if I had the room. I just love collecting ornaments and I love Christmas, so why not? I don’t put a lot of other decorations up and they are spread out, so it doesn’t seem overwhelming at all. Do I sound a little defensive? Not sure why :).

Let’s start with the Parlor Tree…

1 – PARLOR TREE
I have the one real tree in the parlor, so I can gaze at it from my desk. It is decorated with wooden frames filled with family memories and a variety of red, white and green ornaments.
Decorating for Christmas

I purchased the unpainted frames from Michaels, painted them with acrylic paint, added a hook on the top and there you go, an inexpensive way to display your memories and you can add new ones every year. This is a great idea for you too, especially if you have had a recent family shoot and don’t know what to do with all the images. Then, each year, when you have another shoot, replace some of them with the new ones… years down the road you will have such memories when decorating the tree.

My babies…

What are the other ornaments?   Some are ones made by the kids and others represent something. The Starbucks cup is a new one this year, since my son loves iced lattes. The one on the right represents the year my mom passed away.
Decorating for Christmas

Let’s go to the dining room next…
Decorating for Christmas

2 – DINING ROOM TREE
This one also has a lot of special memories but not in the form of pictures, instead we have adorned it with glass ornaments from vacations, events or chosen because they remind me of someone special in my life.
Decorating for Christmas

I added a cupcake this year to represent the work I do for Cake Central magazine.   Another new one is on the right…  it commemorates the trip Joe and his sisters (Carmela and Pam) took this year to meet a brother they had never met.

Decorating for Christmas

This tree is so packed, I’m not sure I can fit more, but every year I do :).  Two more additions this year… a ornaments from Lake Chelan, since the kids go there every year with their Auntie Carmela.  The one on the right is from Crater Lake National Park. We had a quick mini-vacation there to help Nick with a school photography assignment.  There was a river we stopped at on the way where we watched an eagle soaring above us.

Christmas Decorations

From the dining room, we step into the kitchen nook where you will find my newest tree.

3 – KITCHEN NOOK TREE
The kitchen tree was really just an idea that popped into my head this year. I told Joe the idea and he thought, why not. That is why I love him dearly!
Christmas Decorations

I wanted the ornaments to have a somewhat vintage vibe and to be associated with the kitchen. I found this one at Target.
Christmas Decorations

My mother-in-law found this cupcake one for me at Artco. So cute!!  The blender is another one from Target and the espresso machine was stolen from the parlor tree.
Christmas Decorations

I can’t wait to build on this collection. You bet, I’ll be searching the day after Christmas!

Let’s go downstairs… the high class man cave.

4 – BASEMENT TREE
The basement tree celebrates music. Over the years we have added to this collection and it is a very special one. I did this one for Joe.  I thought of this tree years ago when I was at Ranko’s (a local drug store) and saw a small tree decorated with musical ornaments.  I bought one of each and then found more that same year at Restoration Hardware. I was hooked :).  hehehe… get it? Hooked?
High Class Man Cave

We have a couple new ones this year from Carmela.  She stays with us often and knows all the tree themes.
Ornament

Ornament

I have been asked how long it takes me to set all our trees up.  It actually doesn’t take as long as you would think.  I have tried to make it as easy as possible.  The ornaments for each tree reside in the room they are in, so all I have to do is set the tree up and pull out a drawer with all the lights and ornaments.  If there isn’t room to store them inside then I do have a few bins out in the garage, but not that many.  The trees are stored in the basement, under beds and out in the garage.  It only takes 1 day to set all the artificial ones up and another to find the real one and get it all set up and decorated.  I do the majority of it myself, just getting help occasionally.  I have Christmas music playing or a Christmas show on TV and a hot coffee in my hands.  The family passes through and comments on my progress throughout the day.  I enjoy every minute and they enjoy watching me.  I even do the kid’s trees, since they just don’t enjoy it.  Amanda tells me when she gets her own place she wants several trees and wants me to come decorate them for her… I will be there, definitely!  Funny how the kids don’t have the same joy when decorating.  I’ve loved doing it since I was a kid.

Time to head upstairs…

5 – AMANDA’S TREE
Last year Amanda decided she wanted to change the look of her tree, so we bought some blue and silver ornaments after Christmas to prepare. She even contemplated wanting 2 trees in her little bedroom (that’s my girl). Her tree is in blue, silver and white balls with snowflakes, angels and ballet related ornaments to celebrate her love of dance.

Christmas Decorations

Each year she picks a new ornament at the Nutcracker boutique after one of her shows.Christmas Decorations

This is her new angel ornament from Auntie Carmela.Christmas Decorations

I love the snowflakes.Christmas Decorations

Another tradition… for the past several years she has also gotten a snow globe from the Nutcracker boutique.  The middle one is her new one.  The small one is also new to celebrate her role as an arabian this year.  She became an apprentice, which means she is now part of the ballet company.  It is a huge commitment, but she loves it!Nutcracker

Nick’s room is next to Amanda’s…

6 – NICK’S TREE
This year we changed the location of Nick’s tree and changed some of the ornaments. As the kids get older their tastes change. Nicky wanted more of a theme this year, so we went with little mini red and silver balls, vintage cars, Coca -Cola items and penguins, with a few others mixed in there.
Penguins

Nick is a swimmer.  He has been since he was a baby… I started putting him under the water at just 6 months old.  He also plays water polo and is adding Lacrosse in the spring.  I’ll have to find ornaments to represent those sports next.  Again, Auntie came through and got this one for Nick this year.Ornament

He has always loved penguins too.  He has a ton of them… not just ornaments, but figurines, books, cards, stuffed animals, sheets, pj’s, etc.Ornament

One of Nick’s favorite shows this year, Pawn Stars.  That show, along with Joe’s influence has opened him up to the world of cool old stuff and he has even crossed over into the older type music.  I love that he is opening up to a love Joe and I have always had.  We have collected antiques since we started dating back in 1982 when we were just 16 (yes, you can do the math).  We still own several items we purchased way back then.

Cars and Coca Cola

Last, but not least, is our bedroom tree…

7 – MASTER BEDROOM TREE
I love how it feels to have a tree in the bedroom. You should try it… there is a romance about it don’t you think?

This tree is a little more victorian inspired…Christmas Decorations

… with it’s crystal, gold, copper and cream colored ornaments.  The one on the left was given to me by a special friend, Euvila and the one on the right was one Nick made in kindergarten.  Ornaments

Well, there it is… the Riggio parade of trees for 2010. I hope you enjoyed seeing a little taste of our home at Christmas time. It’s very special to us. We have put a lot of work and love into it over 18 years now and it’s the only home my kids have ever known. We usually choose a project each year to enhance it just a bit, but since we did SO MUCH last year, this year we decided to do something outside and built a little city Barn (shed really) in the backyard. It’s not done yet, so no pictures this time :).

God Bless You and love to you all! We wish you a very Merry Christmas. The Riggio’s (Joe, Connie, Nick (16) and Amanda (13) )

Once Upon a Time There Was 7 Christmas Trees | Connie Riggio Seattle Tacoma Photographer - […] I’ve posted about my tree several times thorough the years. You can find those posts here: 2012 and here’s another: 2011 and another: 2010 […]ReplyCancel

This post is dedicated to my sister, who is in Arizona and can’t see my house at Christmas time. Please join with us in celebrating this beautiful season.

The Parlor Tree – this is the only “real” tree in the house
Christmas Tree
Every year I look forward to Christmas… I love decorating and adding new ornaments to my trees, I love Jesus and celebrating His birth, I love spending time with family, shopping, the Nutcracker ballet, the cold crisp weather, the music, everything… and even though it was in December, 16 years ago, that my mom passed away I have chosen to still love this season.

December has so lifted my spirits. I am thankful to have a man that loves me in a way I have always dreamed of, kids that are good people and happy (for the most part :)), extended family that are loving and supportive in every way and friends that are genuine.

The Parlor tree is the family tree, the one that we pick out at the tree farm together, the one that has pictures of us through the years and the one that the presents are under Christmas morning. One of my favorite pictures on the tree is of Joe and I when we were only 17 taken during my senior photo session at Yuen Lui. In the 80’s everyone went to Yuen Lui for their photos and always indoor shots… things have changed today and that has helped me with my business since everything I do is on-location!  On-location sessions make you feel like a star.  I love that!

Don’t you love  Joe’s mullet (or in 80’s language – bi-level), not that mine was not embarrassing with the heavily sprayed feather goin’ on.

The Dining Room Tree – this is our special tree

Christmas Tree
On it you will find glass ornaments representing people, vacations, events and places.

I add new ones every year and this year I added an umbrella representing all the rain we get in Washington!

Christmas Ornament
Cowboy boots since Joe has purchased so many pairs this year!
Christmas Ornament
And… one for me :), perfect don’t you think!
Christmas Tree
There are also 2 extra special ones from our trip to New York that were also added this year.

The Basement Tree – since the basement is Joe’s high class “man cave” this is the instrument tree

Christmas Tree
I love this one almost as much as the dining room tree. I added 10 ornaments this year, since I upgraded it from a small one to a full size one.
Guitar
There is another change in this room too… new carpet. Don’t you love the design! There are also new bamboo floors behind it that you can’t see in this picture. Someday maybe I will blog about all the changes we have made to the house this year. We have changed almost every room with new carpets, throw rugs, furniture, art, plants, wall color, etc. I am done for this year, exhausted for now.

The Master Bedroom Tree
Christmas Tree
When I was a kid I always wanted a tree in my bedroom and for years now I have had one. One year I even left it up all year long!  I know, a little too extreme even for me… but not really!
Christmas Tree
The ornament colors are warm and pick up the rich color of the new carpet (LOVE IT!!!) and the colors of the walls…. very comforting…

Nick’s Tree
Christmas Nutcracker
Both kids got updates to their bedrooms this year. Nick has had the same room since he was a toddler, so we painted it and got him all new furniture and carpet.

Teenage boy bedroom

The kids both have ornaments that represent the things they love. For Nick it’s penguins, Coke, swimming (water polo) and video games.

Amanda’s Tree
Christmas Tree
Amanda has informed me that when she has a house she is going to have lots of trees too. I told her I would come help her decorate and she said, “no mom, YOU are going to DO the decorating for me.”  We are already thinking of different themes for each one.

Amanda is a ballerina so there are lots of ornaments that represent dancing, pointe shoes and the Nutcracker.

And she loves reading comics.

She also got new carpet and a new wall color (ceiling too – the Pooh clouds are gone :()

This year she decided she wanted to collect snowflake ornaments, so in the future she can have a snowflake tree… what have I created?

That;s all 6 of them! I would have more if I could find the room.

Hope you enjoyed my trees. Come again :).

I love comments so please leave me one! Remember to visit my holiday special page to get in on the special deal for December.
xoxoxo, Connie

Rhonda Mackert - Your trees are beautiful! I have to say my favorite is the music tree, but your master bedroom tree is a close second. (It’s similar to the tree we do; same colors etc.) I love the espresso machine, camera and cowboy boot ornaments!ReplyCancel

Melissa Blyth - Hi Connie … I just love the trees and the creativity that goes into decorating all of them… So pretty! I also loved the expresso machine … and camera … too funny! My kids have trees in their rooms as well and Jack’s is a “football tree” … that was easy to decorate because he has footballs sticking out of it … and a helmet on the top! 🙂 He loves it!

I hope you do blog about all the changes you have made in the house because it was so fun to see the pictures – I loved the carpet!! And being that I live so far – I can’t just stop by for a visit!! (smile)

I just loved the pictures …. thanks for sharing!!!ReplyCancel
