Yes, I have more Bellarmine Prep seniors. Today, it’s my senior, Olivia! We did her session downtown where there was lots of interesting locations to use.

Olivia will be playing golf for Oregon State next year and studying business.

She loves watching football and other sports in her spare time. Isn’t this HI sign awesome!! Love it! When we saw it, we just had to use it :).

She loves the city and old architecture, so we got lots of that in her images.

Jaxson – Bellarmine Prep 2015 Senior – Tacoma Senior Photographer

It’s another awesome Bellarmine Prep senior! Jaxson is the son of an old REI work friend. I can’t tell you how honored I am that my work friends remember me when it comes to senior portaits, family portraits and weddings. I love that they trust me and that after 5 years I’m not forgotten :). Time for a group hug :)!!

Jaxson loves nature and it was important for him to have that woodsy feel, so I picked the perfect spot for him.

He was great in front of the camera, even with his mom, sister and friend watching. Confident, funny, smart, goodlooking… he has it all!

Oh, those shoes… Jaxson, those shoes!!

Rachel – Bellarmine Prep 2015 Senior – Tacoma Senior Photographer

Rachel is a Bellarmine Prep senior and she wanted to have some fun in the snow for her customized senior session. We decided to head to the mountains, stopping along the way to capture a few shots at the railroad park.

We never got the heavy snow this year, but there was enough and for that we were grateful (and it was a gorgeous day!).

Rachel’s mom came along on our fun day and as we talked I learned about her gift of organizing, which inspired me to organize my own house. I got a great start, but there’s so much more to do. That happens when you’ve lived somewhere for over 20 years. Right now, as we go through closets and drawers it looks like a disaster, but by the end of the year (hopefully sooner) we will be free of all the clutter. We are also in the middle of some home projects, so that’s slowing the organization down. One day at a time. Now, back to Rachel :).

As we headed back we stopped at another cool spot with one more outfit. Rachel and her mom, Loire were so awesome to hang out with!!

Hailey – Bellarmine Prep 2015 Senior – Tacoma Senior Photographer

Hailey is a 2015 Bellarmine Prep senior and she loves her school, so that’s where we had her shoot. It was a perfect place for her! 🙂

She has a fun quirky personality that she fully embraces and we wanted to make sure that stood out. She’s full of joy and happiness and I love that all that shows through in every image.

Yep, she has a “pet” gnome. Actually, she just loves gnomes in general!

And she loves her books, just a sampling of her favorite author!

It’s a funny thing about this spot at Bellarmine. You really can’t see the cross until you are back from it and really look. It didn’t even pop out at me until I took the shot and looked at the back of the camera.

Hailey is on ASB and the newspaper. She is in a marine chemistry program, but prefers reading to chemistry. She plans on studying English in college.

I’ll end with a traditional Bellarmine Prep outfit that many of the girls make each year and wear to the games to support their team! A LOT of work goes into these jumpsuits!

Serena – Bellarmine Prep 2015 Senior – Tacoma Senior Photographer

Serena is a Bellarmine Prep Senior. You can see that we started her session right when it started to rain. It’s one of those things that can happen and since we were already there and ready we just decided to wait it out or at least have a little fun with it. We actually started with the green shirt, but ran back to the car, sat for a while and then decided to go with another outfit more fitting for the now puddle heavy ground. Serena happened to bring red boots and I had an antique red umbrella in my car… a perfect match.

The rain did stop after a little while and we could resume our regularly scheduled session :). We attempted the green shirt again and this time we got great weather :). Happy St. Patrick’s Day btw. I’m 1/2 Irish and even though I know pretty much nothing about the culture, I just thought I should mention that for some reason.

Serena had such an awesome session and I really love this next set.

Remember that rain… break out the blanket!

Sam – Curtis High School 2015 Senior – Tacoma Senior Photographer

Day 7 of Curtis High School seniors. Sam is a close friend’s son and the brother of 2 past seniors of mine. I can’t believe he’s a senior!! It’s just not possible! He loves cars, so we started at the LeMay Car Museum.

We had such a fun time just hanging out and and laughing. Sam was a good sport. Many guys just aren’t into senior portraits, but we always and I mean ALWAYS have fun!!

Thanks for doing these for your mama… it’s all about makin’ the mama happy :).
