Nikki – Gig Harbor High School 2015 Senior – Tacoma Senior Photographer

Nikki is almost ready to graduate! She’s the daughter of a childhood friend and the sister of one of my past seniors and soon she will be climbing the many stairs of Wazzu!

The Gig Harbor High School girls designed this shirt and Nikki wanted to wear it for a few shots.

Nikki has fabulous style. I loved everything she wore!

We did have a little bit of rain first thing in the morning, but not enough to stop us! We even broke out the vintage umbrella and used it to our advantage. Isn’t this dress just gorgeous, especially on Nikki!

Nikki has the most incredible eyes and her smile is amazing!

She hopes to go into the fashion industry and I think she is already one her way. I’ve seen some of her drawings and this girl is talented!

I know I’m posting a ton of images, but really, there are so many more I’m not even showing you!

Such a fun session and so many different sides of Nikki.

Carefree and happy… it’s a good life.

Larry and Starlene are Engaged – Tacoma Wedding Photographer

Larry and Starlene met at work and from there their relationship grew into love! They are full of joy and laughter and when you are around them, you just want to smile too!

Starlene brought her son along to observe and take a few shots as well. He’s a budding photographer and he helpled alot with the overall laugh factor!

Their wedding isn’t until December of this year, but it’s good to get things checked off the list, so we went ahead and did their engagement session early.

I love engagement sessions. I get to hang out with my wedding clients and get to know them better and that makes me even more excited for their wedding day!

Every couple needs images like this. So much fun!

Hannah – Life Christian Academy 2015 Senior – Tacoma Senior Photographer

Hannah will be graduating soon! Can you believe this school year is almost ready to wrap up? Really, it’s just about 8 weeks away for many students, then it’s time to begin that next big journey!

Hannah is a hard worker, so I know she’ll go far. When she has a goal in place she goes after it for all it’s worth. She’s a gymnist and she works hard at being fit and flexible and she won’t stop pursuing what she’s after.

We did her session on a crisp afternoon. Her sisters and mom came along. One sister was missing, but we managed to get a shot of the sisters that could be there.

Smiling… smiling’s my favorite.

I loved the outfits Hannah picked for her session. She has a good variety, they were interesting and she had layers – all good things to keep in mind when picking out clothes for your session!

One of my favorites because of the location and outfit and of course, Hannah looks adorable in every image, so that’s a given!

Thank you for folowing me over the years Hannah and choosing me when it was your turn for senior portaits! What a great session we had in the streets of downtown Tacoma. YAY Hannah! You’ve done it!

Ashley and Rosendo – Spring Wedding – Tacoma Wedding Photographer

I first met Ashley when she came to me for images of her clothing line soon to be available in her online store, EDDIE. Launch coming soon. She was one of these rare people who oozes genuine kindness. I liked her immediately and soon we were planning future shoots, the most important one being, her wedding!

Sometimes your wedding doesn’t go exactly how you planned. Maybe it rains, maybe some important details are misplaced, or maybe it’s running late. I always say, your wedding day is your wedding day and whatever happens it’s still your wedding day and it’s perfectly made for you. I truly believe that. Ashley didn’t have everything go as planned, but this girl, she just kept a smileon her beautiful face and it was, as I expected it would be, an awesome day!

Ashley has good taste, from the dress she picked that perfectly fit her to the friends she surrounds herself with. She was excited to get ready and share the day with her family and friends, and expecially her husband!

Resendo arrived with a few of his friends and quickly got ready to meet his bride!

The first look is always one of my favorite moments at a wedding.

What an awesome couple!

And beautiful family!

It was finally time for the long awaited wedding.

Connor – Steilacoom High School 2015 Senior – Tacoma Senior Photographer

Connor is a 2015 Steilacoom High School senior and we met up recently to do his shoot.

As soon as I met Connor I knew he would be great in front of the camera.

I am always thankful for every senior I meet. They are great individuals and every single one of them have made an inprint on me. I will always remember them.

As you can see, we had another awesome day to work with. It was a little cold, but I love that, since heat is not my friend (headaches and I don’t regulate heat well). It was perfect for me 🙂 and Connor brought some sweaters, so that was perfect for him!

Sydney – Bellarmine Prep 2015 Senior – Tacoma Senior Photographer

We are on day 6 of Bellarmine and today we feature Sydney! Sydney is a country girl at heart, so we did a more rustic setting for her senior shoot. She loves her dog, so that’s where we started!

We had such a gorgeous day for Sydney’s shoot. You just never know and I’m always so thankful when it turns out to be a great day for my senior.
