Michael is a Stadium High School senior. He loves playing waterpolo and has been on the Stadium team all 4 years. He plans on attending WSU in the fall and joining his sister, who is already there.
Lauren is the sister of a past senior of mine and we got togther on a beautiful summer day to do her senior session.
Lauren is in leadership at school, is on the tennis team and works as a nanny.
She loves to boat, snow ski, and spend time with her friends and family.
I love when I get to photograph a pet!
Lauren plans to major in Communications and become a news anchor for a television station. She is leaning toward WSU as they have an amazing communications program!
We have pictures in this same spot of her sister, her family and her other pup (who recently passed away), so it was only fitting that we ended our session here… on the step if her home.
Samantha is a Monroe High School senior and I met her at one of her favorite childhood hangouts in Seattle, Carkeek Park.
Samantha helped start the Monroe Youth Coalition, a group focused on the prevention of drug and alcohol abuse but mainly the prevention of self harm and the promotion of mental health. How awesome is that!
She’s involved in Link Crew, band, and tons of other clubs and plans to attend a university but is unsure which one or what she wants to study. She’s really into nature and water and spends a lot of time hiking. She also loves music and literature and any form of self-expression.

I photograph many “older” families, mostly because of my senior business. Both Andrew and Nikki are past senior’s of mine (the ones on the far left) and they are now WSU students. Andrew is almost done, just this one last semester and Nikki is just beginning! Steph (mom) invited me out to their house and beautiful property to capture her family. It had been a while since they had family portraits taken and Nikki and Andrew would be off to college in a few days again, so now was the time!
