Kyle is a senior at one of the most beautiful schools in the US, Stadium High School! He’s a waterpolo player and swimmer and plans on attending WSU next year, but still hasn’t decided on a major. He loves music and video games and anything to do with the water.

Maddie ia a 2016 Curtis High School senior. She took ballet from 4 years old to 7 years and then discovered soccer and has played ever since. She has made Curtis Varsity Soccer since the 9th grade. Maddie is a fierce defender and other nicknames given to her on the soccer field have been “Mad Dog”, “The Jackel” and “Beast Mode”. She is extremely competitive on the field. You wouldn’t know it off the field. She is not only great at soccer, she also has played fast-pitch for years and is an awesome catcher. She will also be adding track to her list next Spring.
Maddie plans to go to a community college the first 2 years and then Eastern Washington University. Playing soccer in both is the plan. She’s not sure what career path she wants but sports and animals are her main interests.
After hanging out in the city for a while we headed to the field for some sun drenched fun 🙂 and Maddie looked beautiful!
Maddie had 2 of her closest friends join us and guess what, they ALL share the SAME name!! Crazy!
Yep, Troy and Garrett are twins and seniors at Curtis High School. Both are varsity/state-level swimmers and water polo players for Curtis and Puget Sound Polo. They plan on attending college, but are are still deciding which ones and will soon be doing a tour of many of the colleges they are considering. Even though they don’t know what their exact major will be, they expect it to be in one of the STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) fields.
Garrett is on the left and Troy is on the right. When I capture twins, I have to write down what each is wearing, so when I get back home and load all the images I can tell them apart. In person, I can usually tell, but in pictures it’s a much harder :).

When we arrived at Titlow Beach their was absolutely no beach to be had and the sun was blaring, so we had to get a little creative :). That’s always a good thing.
We were done with our session and heading back to the cars, when the train started to pass and just had to get one more!
Each family session is so unique and seeing the dynamics of families is so awesome and special to me.

I know that it’s easy to look at a family session and think that everything went perfectly. Well, sometimes it does and this is one of those times. Little Noah was just a happy baby the whole time and I can be pretty good at acting goofy to get those smiles out! haha

I had the honor of documenting Jenna and Jeff’s wedding at this same location, The Cove and now I get to see their family grow! They are expecting a little girl in October. I haven’t done a lot of maternity sessions, but I’ve enjoyed the few I’ve done. Jordan, the soon to be big brother is such a great kid, I know he’s going to love his little sister!
