Andrea will be getting married in September and before her big day (yep, I’ll be documenting her wedding too!), she wanted to have some special time with her girls and do a shoot just for them.
These girls are a lot of fun and laugh a lot. Such a fun time and you can’t tell by the images but it was very cold! We had hand warmers in our pockets though and kept a warm outlook :).
I love the fair, always have, so documentig Jonny and Amanda’s wedding at the fair grounds, perfect :). November was a rainy month, but we had a beautiful day to celebrate and we were all very thankful for that!

Lauren is a 2016 Steilacoom High School senior and she was joined by her family for her shoot. It’s always a great time to update the family portrait :). Lauren is a division one soccer player and has signed to Evergreen to play next year. She is currently in her second year at Pierce for the Running Start program and will graduate with her associates degree. She plans on getting a business degree and growing the family candle company Erin Jane Illuminations, named after Lauren’s sister who passed away 9 years ago.
Maren is a 2016 Gig Harbor High School senior and she was such a trooper during our session. When we arrived at the park, there were hundreds of runners and fans there as well and everywhere we looked we felt in their way. We tried hard to find areas not being used and I think we did a good job of staying clear of the event :). Then as the shoot progressed the rain came and we just kept going, hoping it would eventually stop for us and it did!
Maren is beautiful to look at, but she also has a kind and beautiful soul.
Pearl, the Weimaraner joined us for her chance in the spotlight and she was very happy about it. ha
As the rain came, we switched to a hat! Perfect solution!
Then the rain stopped and we could change and continue our shoot. Maren wants to be a nurse someday and is still deciding on the college she will attend.
