Courtney is amazing! I arrived at her house on Vashon with a fresh garden, grape vines, horses, chickens, apple trees, dog, barn cat and a loving family supporting her the entire shoot. What a fun time we had and I felt so welcomed with veggies and herbs to take home and my fill of animal therapy!

Kristyn and Steve Say I Do at Wild Rose Estate

I knew I would love this wedding when I met Kristyn and Steve for their engagement shoot on Capital Hill in Seattle. Lets just say colorful and I LOVE LOVE LOVE lots of color! These two are charming too, so spending lots of time with them was easy :). I loved all their ideas and it was my first time at Wild Rose Estates. Such a beautiful venue with lots of flowers, a she shed for the girls and a he shed for the guys, tons of land and parking. It was fabulous!

Since Kristyn’s Dad was officiating, her brother walked her down the aisle.

This is their special buddy that goes everywhere they travel to. He even had his own suit and was walked down the aisle by Kristyn’s mom.

Abigail and Alexis – TWINS – Gig Harbor – Class of 2018

Abigail and Alexis are twins and wanted to share their session with a little extra time added. I love doing that with twins or even friends. It’s fun to have a buddy with you during your shoot, especially if you are shy (which these girls aren’t btw). I loved that their ones together especially and I loved how their personalities each came out even though they were done together.

Sophia – Gig Harbor Senior – Class of 2018

I love shoots at my senior’s homes, since they are unique to them and hold a special place in their heart. I firmly believe that you can have a fabulous shoot almost anywhere. Don’t get me wrong, location is important, very important, but it’s more about the light and interest than it is about the actual overall landscape. I think an alley can be great, or any street in the city, a park, industrial area, a sidewalk in front of your house or a beach! It’s all awesome! I LOVE Sophia’s beach session and since I did her sister’s shoot at the same location, we made sure it was totally different. Sophia’s mom and I went to high school together and her brother is one of the people that helped in the match making of Joe and I when we were just 16.

Many families choose to take the time to do a family picture at the end of a senior session (or sometimes at the very beginning). It’s the perfect time! It’s so easy to put it off and this is the perfect opportunity! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the last image! The best family shot ever! haha

Kelsey and Juan Wedding Day Magic

Kelsey has held a special place in my heart ever since I did her senior portraits and I wish I could remember what year that was :). We have done modeling pictures, college graduation pictures, engagement pictures and now, her wedding day. The day she is marrying her best friend, Juan. I love watching these two together. They have magic, such pure love. Not a dry eye during their vows and to see them watch each other’s feet was a special part of the whole day. I’ve never seen that before. These two love Disney, that’s where Juan proposed and it’s where they went for their honeymoon and they had a sweet subtle flavor Beauty and the Beast throughout the wedding.

Amy – Decatur High School Senior

I love when my clients trust me to pick the locations. I have a ton of ideas and many are not the typical places. I just wait for those times where I here, “you pick”. I have a bunch right in my back pocket ready to share for just the right session. It’s always windy at this beach, but just so pretty and I don’t mind taking extra time to such a gorgeous place, especially for one of my seniors.

Amy and I had such a great time. I’m most at peace when I’m on a shoot and I love the one on one interaction with people. It’s a funny thing. I am definitely an introvert, but when I have my camera and I meet my client I feel like we are already friends and we are getting together to have a little fun.
