Another great wedding with 2 awesome people. These 2 are so fun, easy going, and love to laugh. It only takes a little time to quickly see that they are made for each other.
Lizzie and I had fun on her property in Gig Harbor for her senior session. At first we thought we wanted to capture the cherry blossoms, but with the rain they disappeared faster than expected, so plan B was to use the area around her yard. Well, we not only used that but the cherry blossoms across the street had changed to a darker raspberry color and they were awesome, especially with the dress she had picked out! I love matching a location with an outfit. It makes all the difference! She lives in a fabulous place and when you have that available, why not use it! We could have gone for hours! The laughter was constant with the distant sounds of a turkey, cow and sheep having a conversation. Every time they responded to each other we laughed. My kind of people! My kind of session! Spring is so refreshing when it sticks around long enough to enjoy :).
She is WSU bound for their nursing program next year! Yay Lizzie!
As we were shooting this segment of her session we were also carefully listening and watching for bears!!
Oh, the magical light we found and what a beauty she is!
Cherry Blossoms, just past their season! So pretty and perfect with Lizzie’s outfit.
Thank you for a fabulous time Lizzie! You have an awesome family too!! Hugs to you all!

It was such a beautiful day yesterday! I mean we had some spots of rain here and there, but when it was time for our shoot, perfection! McKinzie just finished up her nursing program and now it’s almost time for baby Amelia to make her debut! This family has been special to me for a few years now. I’ve done their first maternity shoot with their little puppy at the time, then their engagement and family portraits, then their wedding and now baby number 2! I love being part of growing families and what an honor to see all the changes every year. I can’t wait to meet Amelia and capture her and her sister together!
Brian is my nephew and he married his love Alisa, last Friday! It was a great day of lots of laughter and fun and for March, we couldn’t of had a more gorgeous day to celebrate! We started at The Villa B&B in Tacoma and ended at Historic 1625. Historic 1625 is a regular place for me, but I had not been to The Villa in maybe 10 years. It was beautiful!
Kaye and Ron are getting married in just a few months, so it was time to finally get their engagement session done. We had tried several times, but it was always raining and on this day, no rain!!! Finally!! Oh, life in the PNW. They brought Milo with them too, since he’s their fur baby and very important! He will even be part of the wedding! I love that!
Logan decided to do his session in the comfort of his own back yard. He lives in such a cool location, it was perfect. His mom and Dad joined us too. Such a sweet family!! His family is so creative with all the little surprises around the yard. I loved their little shed with the old snowboards made into a door.
Yes, we know, there’s no water, tide out, but I thought this was so funny! A person can always try 🙂
What a great family! Senior portrait sessions are a great time to grab a quick family portrait too!
