This was a hard one for all of us… it seems the first place we go when we think of something like this is the part of us we don’t like, instead of concentrating on a deeper sense to what is inside.
I have several ideas for this one, but like others, I too went to the more negative side of how I feel about myself instead of the positive. I ended up deciding on this image… a new bud just peaking out, anticipating spring.
The thoughts that come to mind are:
- vulnerable
- new beginning
- bright
- colorful
- this small bud is on it’s way to something that God intended it to be, it is in transition
- reaching up
- if this were plucked from it’s secure spot, it would take a while to catch up, but it would still grow back

My other option….nearly went with it was a sign that read, “Road Work Ahead”.
